Frame Tents: Festival® High Peak
The Festival® frame tent system epitomizes structural strength with simplicity of design. The high sweeping peaks and tensioned fabric make the Festival® a favorite for most any outdoor event. The key design principle behind the Festival® is the cross-cable mast support system, which allows for far less parts than other frame tents and reduces installation time. The frame of the Festival® is built from structural grade aluminum extrusions that have been designed to provide engineered strength to the frame system and allows the tent to withstand the rigors of the event rental industry. Our proprietary valance tensioning design and mid-span tensioning system keep the fabric uniformly tensioned and free of wrinkles without added complexity. The Festival is the only high peak that is available in both one piece and expandable configurations.

FAQs
The primary difference is the construction of the frame system and the fittings that each systems use. The frame of the original Festival® is built on a 2" Diameter 0.125" wall tubing for the 10' wide and 15' wide systems then transitions to a 2" x 4" Jumbo Tube extrusion for the 20' wide systems. These members are built to be more durable when compared to the 2.5" Diameter 0.100" wall tubing used in the Festival® CAN-T and Festival® CAN-W frame systems. The tradeoff here is weight and thus strength and cost. While the Festival® CAN-T and Festival® CAN-W weigh significantly less, this lighter system does make them easier to transport and install. The tent tops for all systems are built with the same 16oz opaque vinyl fabric and are constructed with the same durable construction features.
Frame Tents
Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents
Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
