Frame Tents: Festival® CAN-T High Peak

The Festival® CAN-T is perfect for lighter duty applications where portability and labor savings are a key requirement. The key design principle behind the Festival® is the cross-cable mast support system, which allows for far less parts than other frame tents and reduces installation time. The high sweeping peaks and tensioned fabric make the Festival® CAN-T a favorite for most any outdoor event. The simplistic design of the frame’s 2.5”OD round anodized aluminum extrusions make installation easy. The frame system is rugged enough to handle the day-to-day pressures of the commercial tent rental environment, while light enough for cost and labor savings each time the tent is installed. The frame system utilizes a modular pole system where a 20’ span can be achieved with two 9’3” poles and a splice. These 9’3” poles are used for the 10x, 15x and 20x frame systems, and for the 9’3” legs. The Festival® CAN-T has been designed to be compatible with the Matrix-MarqueeTM system offered by Surrey, British Columbia based International Tentnology Corporation.

Frame Tents

Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents

Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.

Clearspan Structures

Similar to Frame Tents, these types of frame supported structures have no interior posts or columns. The unique attribute that Clearspan Structures hold is their ability to span quite large distances without interior posts and also without external guying. Generally, these structures are built for higher loading applications and larger span sizes.
