This Customer Spotlight highlights Steven Van Vlasselaer and European rental company, 2VRents, which operates out of Belgium.

What spurred the growth and success of 2V Rents from one man show to premier party rental service?

The growth of 2VRent has been driven primarily by our dedicated team, customer-centric approach and continuous innovation. We listen to our customers' needs and adapt our offerings accordingly. Moreover, we have expanded our network and built collaborations, which has led to increased visibility and excellent word of mouth.

Do you notice anything different about today's rental industry compared to the last few years?

Compared to recent years, we see the rental industry becoming increasingly focused on customization and unique experiences. Clients are looking for creativity and personal touches in their events. In addition, demand for sustainable and ecological options has also surged.

How do you feel about the availability of labor in 2024?

Regarding the availability of labor in 2024, I am moderately optimistic. Although there are challenges in the labor market, we are actively recruiting and training talents that fit our corporate culture. We believe that strong team dynamics are critical to our success.

Could you talk about some of the more interesting and/or challenging 2V Rents projects?

For sure! It's great to see how 2VRent always allows us to be part of the wonderful wedding celebrations in Belgium and France. The growth of 2VRent is a great example of how we respond to this demand by offering unique and creative rental solutions that make every event special.

The constant search for new products keeps our company dynamic and innovative. We are always working to provide our customers with the best experiences and latest trends, which allows us to stand out in a competitive market.

In addition, the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris gave us an opportunity to be inspired by the energy, collaboration and creativity that this type of international event brings. It can motivate us to look even beyond what we are doing now and explore new possibilities.

All these elements together are creating an exciting time for the wedding and event industry in Belgium and France.

Are there any new products that you are excited about?

I am very excited about a number of new products that we will soon introduce, including innovative furniture concepts and sustainable decorations. These products are designed to meet the demand for unique and ecological solutions.

Can you describe the outlook of your business for the rest of the year and one thing in particular that you're focused on?

For the rest of the year, we are focusing on expanding our portfolio and improving our customer service. We want to further establish our brand as the go-to rental service for events in Belgium, France and the Netherlands

What is it about Aztec that keeps you coming back?

As for Aztec, I especially appreciate the cooperation and support we receive. The products are of high quality and the team is always willing to help think of solutions, which makes our cooperation very pleasant.

Frame Tents

Frame Tents feature a skeleton of aluminum framework and steel connectors to support the tent top. Although this style of tent is "free-standing" by design, it still must be anchored to resist wind forces. All styles of frame tents have no poles that come to the ground in the interior space of the tent.

Pole Tents

Pole tents rely on tension in the membrane to hold the shape of the tent system. These tents are supported by single or multiple centerpoles in the middle of the tent area and a series of sidepoles around the perimeter of the tent area. The tent is tensioned toward the anchoring locations commonly with a rope or ratchet strap.
